Latifa A. Mansoor is respected, experienced, and compassionate Judge with the credentials to mediate on questions of law between litigating parties. As a Judge, she is prepared to hear arguments and review evidence.
She is a distinguished and highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Justice of the Court of Appeal of Tanzania. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law and a bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
Latifa was appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Tanzania in June 2022. She has served in different divisions and regions including Land Division and Commercial Division in Dar es Salaam, as well as Dodoma. She later took leadership roles as Judge in Charge in various places such as as the Mediation Centre, Tanga, and Morogoro.
In addition to her national duties, she servers as a Judge of the Southern African Development Community Administrative Tribunal (SADCAT), representing Tanzania at the regional level.
From 15th April 2025 she was elected as a Vice President of Tanzania Magistrates and Judges Association (TMJA).
