Who we are
A united voice for judicial officers
The Tanzania Magistrates and Judges Association is founded on the recognition that an independent, strong, and respected Judiciary is essential to a democratic society. It provides a national platform for members of the bench to strengthen unity, professional standards, and service to justice.
Guided by its Constitution, TMJA works to protect the dignity, honour, welfare, and traditions of judicial office while promoting education, research, ethical conduct, and cooperation with justice-sector institutions in Tanzania and beyond.

The Association operates nationally, with its headquarters in Dodoma and branches across regions and judicial institutions.
